How to Receive Christ
It all begins with understanding God’s plan.

God’s Initial Plan
God wants to have a
relationship with us.
He created us to be with him.
Sin’s Destructive Plan
The Garden Tragedy destroyed that relationship and allowed sin into the world. Sin’s goal is to be and do everything in opposition to God.
Sin wants us to
be separated from God.
God’s Redemption Plan
God wants to restore relationship with us. He sent His son, Jesus, as the plan to restore the relationship. Jesus paid the price (or redeemed) us for God.
To be with Jesus restores
relationship with God.

Be With Jesus
Admit.
Admit you are living outside of relationship
with God.
He calls it sin.
Believe.
Believe God sent Christ to die for you to restore relationship with Him.
Commit.
Confess Jesus as Lord and commit to living your life for Christ.
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV ….that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Prayer to Accept Jesus into Your Heart
Repeat this Prayer
Jesus I need you. I’ve been living without you in a way I think I should live. I was wrong. I believe you gave up your life for this moment in my life. Because you died for me, came back to life, and now sit in heaven with God, I don’t have to live like this. I invite you into my life. I invite you to take control of my life. Through your Holy Spirit, I know my healing has begun.
Thank you and Amen.
Now Follow Jesus
Find a good
church home.
This should be a place where they teach the Bible, which is your guide on how to live as a believer in Christ.. This should also be a loving place where people take time to know you and do not jump to judgement. It should be a place where you can grow in Christ.
Read the
Bible daily.
Don’t just take the word of others. Anytime you hear something, read it for yourself. In reading on your own, start with the New Testament in the section titled “John” and keep going from there. As you read and study the Bible, you learn more about God, His purpose, His ways and His plans.
Talk to
God daily.
This is all about praying, which is talking with God about what you read in his Bible. Talk to him about what’s in your heart. Talk to him about your healing. Talk to him about everything and anything. He’s ready to listen and to help. And be ready to hear from God through his Bible, through the church, and thorugh cirucmstances.
